Saluting Excellence
Based on the peer recognition model, the annual COACH awards give Canadian health informatics and telehealth professionals the opportunity to pay tribute to excellence, leadership and innovation.
The awards and Steven Huesing Scholarship will be presented at the sixth annual Canadian Health Informatics Awards Gala, co-hosted by COACH and ITAC Health, Nov. 18 at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
This year, the COACH awards program has been expanded to include four awards for the telehealth community through the merger of COACH and the Canadian Society of Telehealth. Follow the links below for criteria.

- Community-Based Physician Leader/Innovator Award;
- Emerging Leader in Health Informatics Award;
- Excellence in Canadian Telehealth Award;
- Innovation in the Adoption of Health Informatics Award;

- Leadership in the Field of Health Informatics Award;
- Telehealth Technology Innovation Award;
- Steven Huesing Scholarship.
Nominations and scholarship applications must be submitted online, addressed to the Awards Adjudication Committee, by 5 pm ET September 13, 2010.
