Mission Statement

CHIEF's Mission is to address critical business issues, build leadership capacity, forge relationships, enable peer dialogue, support succession and maximize professional development time for senior Health Informatics Executives in Canada. (See related Media Releases)

Purpose

Act as the primary Canadian forum for CIOs and Health Informatics Executives
Provide a like-minded assembly for the benefit of members
Provide offerings and services through formal networking vehicles and events
Provide exposure to industry visionaries and solutions
Build human resource capacity
Engage in educational opportunities and related products and services
Be the health CIO member body providing leadership within Canada and, as appropriate, as part of COACH internationally

COACH: Canada’s Health Informatics Association is firmly committed to advancing the practice of health informatics as a profession. As a means of addressing this goal at the executive level specifically, COACH brings you CHIEF: Canada’s Health Informatics Executive Forum.
