They were honoured at the fifth annual Canadian Health Informatics Awards (CHIA) Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto on Nov. 19. The recipients are listed below.

The ITAC Health awards were also presented at the gala, which COACH and ITAC Health co-host.
Recipients of other industry awards presented before the gala were also recognized at CHIA 2009. They were the Canada Health Infoway Standards Collaborative Peer Award, Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) Pinnacle Awards winners and the Canadian Society of Telehealth awards.
